(Instead of upgrading to the $25 LED fixtures I had in storage)  They summoned licensed pros for every small one-off thing, including swapping light fixtures, wall heaters and changing toilet flappers. 

. $450 for a handyman to install three sets of window blinds and swap out an interior garage door (replacement door was already onsite). $425 to diagnose an A/C issue that turned out to be a thermostat that went bad/thermostat replaced.

The house is literally brand new outside of the concrete and swapping out the old concrete stationary tub in the basement. 

In order to somewhat protect my interests I had a purchase agreement with the homeowner that gave me the right to purchase it for the same amount that they were guaranteed from the ultimate sale that included a clause saying that I was allowed to swap that contract with that of another buyer if I was able to find one (which I did).

I swapped to a new laptop and I am not sure I actually saved it!

You don't say where you are, but you're looking at $3-5k generally....Not gonna happen in 6 days because the Utility Company must get involved to do the line swap.
