No offense, but the reason newbies jump out and start an LLC for their asset protection boils down to the fact they are scared to get involved in RE because they don't know RE or the reality of their exposure, which is really very low for a single family residence.

Both in the sense they harm their health (their choice, I do not oppose) as well as create an offensive and potentially harmful environment for those around (I very much oppose).Having said that, I still think that growing marijuana on a property is far more benign than smoking or keeping animals indoors.
