Are they legit?

No serious, legit, high-end GCs will allow you to get materials...it's not how this is done.

Can anyone suggest any platforms appropriate for listing a property on my own?

@Lauren Ruppert, if they are a legit contractor their insurance covers damage they did to the property.

Probably best to go local on this for someone to be on the ground and really understand the property and project from the lending side, rather than a national platform

But also note there is a wrinkle in that if investing in Las Vegas, the state of Nevada is the rare state with pretty strict regulations and licensing requirements for DSCR, so a lot of national platforms don't lend DSCR in Nevada. 

@Engelo Rumora  sorry to hear you were affected by the FTX debacle.This is an interesting topic, and I think it's especially interesting on a real estate-focused platform like BP...The reason being: in my mind, real estate and crypto are opposites in so many ways.

Even then make sure you do a background check, credit score, and put them on a legit lease.

I would like to know if this is legit service.
