There are many choices: wholesaling, flipping, buy/rent/hold, office, retail, development, multifamily, etc.There will be many distractions that come across your desk, but once you know what category of real estate investing you want to pursue you need to put the time in to be the expert.Since you commented here on my post I will take the liberty that you want to pursue apartment investing.Next question you need to ask is - Why Apartments?

You might have to hire an attorney and/or a CPA to advise you the best way to go with incorporation.Another thing you should consider doing is to make an office location that is convient and has minimal distractions.
