Hi BP Community,

I am a newbie here to the BP community. Over the past 6 months, I been re-evaluating Entrepreneur working as an employee isn't working for me. I've been approached by several MLM's.  At the same time, I've been studying the possibilities with BiggerPockets.  I've made the solid decision to invest in real estate. I've been a homeowner for 9 years.  Two children.   Currently, working a full-time and a half job. My goals are to purchase "Buy and Holds" and "Investing".  I don't have a niche yet. Currently, I'm in the process of determining the next step.  I'm excited, motivated and geared up make this decision a success. :=D Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tarkiyah and welcome. I'm new to real estate investing as but would just echo what Ben said. Find 1 niche and learn that. Master it. After that fid another niche and repeat. This will help you stay focused and give you success. That will keep you hungry. Also find a mentor, I chose someone from my church who was doing investing and I trusted. His knowledge has been invaluable. It also will help you avoid some of the pitfalls of the business. Lastly get started now! Don't wait until u know everything cause you will never get started. Well wishes
