I have spoken to a few professionals and they recommend waiting until closer to the end of the lease to put things into motion.

For anyone still reading this; remember the 80/10/10 rule. 10% of sales people shouldn't be there, 80% are doing the motions, and 10% of sales people are absolutely phenomenal.
