Once you accept someone with a so so credit or start turning a blind eye to things that pop up on background checks or income requirements, what you do for one you must do for all. 

I'm currently in the background phase. 

Background Story; My fiance's best friend, recently going through a bad break up, has always rented (lives with her sister, her cats, and her sister's dog), but she thinks now it may be a good idea to finally buy as rents are high and even more difficult for ones allowing pets. 

During my background check they actually gave me the # of one of their family members as their "landlord", bad due diligence on my part.  

I have excellent drive and motivation, and I feel my background in banking gives me an advantage to understanding the different types of loans and the finer portions of the lending aspect, since most people seem to finance homes. 

Personally I can see what the inspectors see as I have a background in construction & construction management.

Here is a short story / background: I own an owner-occupied Duplex Rental Property.

I have a background in real estate, prior to getting married I was a realtor in Florida, then worked as a marketing director in a real estate office.

Background: My wife and I read Rich Dad Poor Dad about 10 years ago and it really shook us.
