Hello BP! My husband and I recently jumped into real estate investing. We made the decision to go for it the end of March and we now have our first property in escrow! I have a background in real estate, prior to getting married I was a realtor in Florida, then worked as a marketing director in a real estate office. Since we married and moved to Connecticut, I’ve been fortunate to be a SAHM and worked in a couple direct marketing companies. Since deciding to get into investing I have listened to about 100 of the bp podcasts and read a few of the recommended books, I’ve taken the classes to get my CT real estate license and will take my exam on Monday. I appreciate all the information that BiggerPockets has given and we went to a local meet up and am now thinking of starting my own! We are currently looking to buy single family homes with at least 2 bedrooms and over 1000 sq ft in good school districts that we can rehab, add value and flip. Our ultimate goal will be multi family buy and hold properties, to however we want to raise capital through flipping houses. Thank you BiggerPockets community for so much valuable knowledge, you guys rock!
