The black appliances look cleaner after use and getting black appliance paint to touch it up blends better than trying to touch up white appliances.Another option is to try to rent it without appliances and give the tenants a one time credit for bringing their appliances and then they are responsible for it for the duration of their lease.  

It is also a great way to build up capital for your STR purchases, or blend the two and start doing BRRRs.

when you spray you get a very smooth finish , like painting a car , if and when you touch up with a roller it doesnt blend in . 

I know I can build under $150 a sq ft with garages with my margin, without a garage (this one), that saves $80 per sq ft so I know the blended sq ft I can get lower.

In one case it was severely scratched when the oven was installed, and though the scratch is noticeable, it blends in and is the same color, so we decided to not even replace that board.

@Kyle Falkenstein I use the waterproof/petproof lvp throughout and try to use a color that blends/hides well.
