Just sell and pay off that loan or two.

They lowered the “taxable value” by 40-50% and then raised the tax rate about 35-45% lowering everyone’s taxes that year.

So it looks like you would need around 4-5 years to get to break even by selling those stocks and paying the tax now.

I know they would be worse off refinancing at today’s rates even if they could find an alternative lender able to lend on older mobile homes.
