Looking for a loan and am curious if all lenders have resorted to creating a laundry list of fees.

I liked Destin West because I figured the “resort” vibe would be appealing to guests, but I did wonder how unattractive that 5 minute sky bridge walk to the beach would be.

Perhaps we could use these guys as a last resort.

Document that in case this goes to SC Court.Yes, that would be our last resort - taking video and pictures before and after the work is done.

It only cost me a ski trip in Jan 2024.

That is for people trained to buy property the correct way, but most people aren't trained so they resort to the aforementioned options. 

Mostly because they have a lot of resorts and hotels that work to "lobby" the municipality together and keep Airbnbs to a minimum.

Someone who had purchased the legal STR with NUC or in "Resort Zone" they most likely be doing alright, but for someone to buy in 2024 and do STR, I think it would be very hard to make a decent ROI.
