I'm fine with doing some minor fixes and improvements to a property: Adding overhead lighting/fans, better flooring, maybe redoing a main bathroom.

I would do the deal if I were in your shoes.

I'm a big fan of lakefront properties as vacation rentals, and the area these cabins are in is popular for tourists, so I felt confident in the deal.How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I’m more a fan of Boone rather than Asheville (in NC speak) - the smaller, more authentic mountain experience rather than the touristy mountain regions.

One of our local real estate experts is a big fan of Lee Arnold an his system.

That said, I am not a fan of investing in buy & hold real estate within SDIRAs, unless the situation does not present any better alternatives.Additional thoughts from the retirement account experts??
