I've used a couple of them to buy more property but in retrospect it probably would have been better to get an equity loan instead for that purpose.

In retrospect, the only thing I wish I did differently was do that about 10 more times throughout my 20's and keep every property instead of selling along the way like I did.

I've been thinking for years that I should really buy a multi unit rental to live in, and see how close I can get to living for free and to build passive income, but I haven't pulled the trigger thanks to a feeling of not knowing what I was doing well enough.Since the summer I have been looking at properties with an agent, and made an offer or two that didn't go through (in retrospect now that I have a better understanding of financial analysis, thank goodness ;) ).
