We will also be lobbying at the capitol on crossover day (2/28), and there are other protests and Town Hall meetings that are being planned.  

Note the offenders, cite them with a 3 day notice, they will protest that it’s not their kids’ or their trash, and replace them.

Consider what is happening in Austin recently and how local residents are protesting the higher appraisals which in turn will affect what their local governments will demand in taxes.  

This included a single family home, office building, mobile home park and a strip of land abandoned by the railroad to the prior owners.In September of 2000 I used the arms length sales contract to protest the real estate taxes and won the appeal.

In the past I protested myself but over time found the CAD appraisers are more inclined to negotiate with a tax protest company than me as an individual.

And then there are morons protesting outside the courthouse during the trial.

With all that I went to the ZBA hearing, none of the neighbors showed up to protest, so I had approved the use of the property as a duplex, even though the zoning is not permitting duplexes.
