It is a good idea to take this to a commercial lender and I actually had an appointment with my lender, but a situation came up so we had to postpone the meeting.

This month's meeting was postponed until next week on the 18th because we have a guest speaker, John mccants will be teaching a three day workshop on buying houses at foreclosure auctions starting Thursday February 18th at 6:30 p.m. until about 9 p.m. then on Friday we will be going to the foreclosure auctions at the Spokane courthouse that will run from about 8 am until noon, then the final day is Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Usually we meet up on the second Thursday of each month from 630pm to about 9 pm.This month's meeting was postponed until the 18th because we have a guest speaker John Mccants, he's doing a 3 day workshop on buying houses at foreclosure auctions.

Only the hoa could have postponed the auction, or the seller would have needed to file motion to get the auction postponed, and convinced the judge the short sale was imminent....we've had to do this many times to proceed with a short sale.

You need to get moving, to the point where the Lender is assured of this sale going through, in order to get Them to postpone the sale.

Yes a home can be sold in foreclosure and no the bank won't always postpone to allow a standard sale to take place.
