Hello my name is Kim Smith, I live in Spokane Wa, where I work as a substitute Secretary, Educational Assistant, and Teacher. My husband and I recently decided to become real estate investors. My background in Real Estate was as an agent back in 2006/2007 and he is a retired govt employee. We are looking forward to working as a team in this business. While researching I came across Bigger Pockets and enjoyed the blogs.

Hi Kim, and welcome to BiggerPockets! Congratulations on your decision to become real estate investors. There are lots of good articles and blog posts here. Spokane is an awesome place to get started in Real Estate Investing, lots of opportunities If you know where to look. be sure to check out the local real estate investing clubs, There are few here in Spokane, I am a member of NEXT GEN REI Club of Spokane. Our monthly meetings are usually the second Thursday of each month from 6 to 9 pm. This month's meeting was postponed until next week on the 18th because we have a guest speaker, John mccants will be teaching a three day workshop on buying houses at foreclosure auctions starting Thursday February 18th at 6:30 p.m. until about 9 p.m. then on Friday we will be going to the foreclosure auctions at the Spokane courthouse that will run from about 8 am until noon, then the final day is Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
