My partner and I developed a banking relation with a moderate sized Texas bank 11 years ago.  

You only have to be moderately curious and be willing to study where these policies have led in the past.

Oftentimes all that is needed is to show genuine interest, to actually do what is suggested by the mentor, and to be at least moderately grateful along the way.

I will add work moderately hard at least when starting.
