As for the supposedly offensive comments by @Bill Gulley you guys need to get a grip.

National lenders have a death grip on their guidelines and it gets more and more difficult to refi conventional loans.

lolol  Come on people (Bob), get a grip, and have common sense. 

I prefer the products with a "grip strip" over two edges (i.e., TrafficMaster Allure at Home Depot). 

Hi BPI have been relentlessly trying to get a grip on a few of the hot markets in Florida.

Or maybe I am just being a dumb kid who thinks in idealistic terms and can't come to grips with reality.

The "grip strip" adhesive ones work well for those who have a good eye, but can be a challenge to lay if you get one crooked.

If you'd be willing to help an out-of-towner get a better grip on the locale, I'd be eternally grateful.

The one thing that I will say having managed properties in other countries (China and Russia) is that you need to have a firm grip on the culture and the culture surrounding rental properties, land ownership, law enforcement, court systems, etc.
