Seeing others suggesting wholetailing, JVing with an owner, buying legal title to a property that has an option on it subject-to or an existing installment contract is rather flattering.

It's having a general awareness with where we are at in the cycle in both a highly cyclical market, as well as a flatter, less cyclical market. 

I believe you think you are defending your brand but it does not promote a flattering picture to the outside observer.I think everyone who has any kind of web presence could learn a really good lesson from the US Air Force in response to these types of things.

Since he is the brother of an old co-worker and you have requested to meet with him, I am sure that he is flattered by your interest and desire to speak with him.
