@Jung-woong HanYou really need to go to my posts on BP concerning these topics, the information you get in a public forum with "investors" will be wrong 50% to 90% of the time, like Christine's post.But first, you need to learn the basics of real estate, that's not on BP!

Fur out the studs to eliminate space between the back of the cement board and the studsDrill four 3/16 in. holes in the tiles covering the cement board with a diamond bit, positioning the holes so that they would be covered by the pedestal sink.

@Bruce Clark  You could use steel studs or hat channel as furring and shoot them to the wall.

We then covered it up with 1.5" poly iso R8.5 foam board, furred out all the penetrations with 2x4's, installed the new doors and windows, flashed them, and installed the Hardie in a rain screen format such as the picture below.
