Hi, I'm Rob Currie, newbie from Philadelphia, Pa, I'm an operator in the natural gas and oil field, ex military (82nd Airborne), was in the process of getting my formal pre approval for my VA home loan, to purchase my first home, was on Google trying to get a real estate question answered that's how I came across the Biggerpockets.com website, very thankful that I did, I joined a few weeks ago just now able to return due to the 200 plus hours I work in a two week period in the oilfield.im reading the ultimate beginners guide to real estate investing, I'm hoping through the forums, blogs and all the awesome information being given from all, I can one day retire from the oilfield.

One of the best tip that I can to people is that invest in quality cameras for their listings and even take it one step further with video.Action cameras like GoPro are great to get wide angle view of the house and the street, a drone footage around the neighborhood showing parks or market will really increase the interest of potential buyer and help you sell more houses.

-framing cavity's (wall floor and ceiling) should be completely filled with thermal fiber or roxul.if you have a fire door hopefully it is a insulated one and not just a hollow steel shell. a door with a threshold would be best so sound doenst transfer through gap under regular door.if the units are vibrating a lot they should sit on rubber dampers.theres 2 areas to focus on when trying to limit noisevibrations from one material through another like foot steps above or vibrating machinerythe other is airborne sounds like talking and speakersthere are many products available to help you reduce the noise unfortunately it sounds like you may have to invest some more money and time being they are already rehabbed
