Over the years I've witnessed parties make many unforced errors in this context. 

One blessing and a curse of being in the Great Plains is there is plenty of room to expand so far. 

Now it is very important for you to show up at the court date as the complaining witness so the case won’t be dismissed.

@Isaac Blocher  yes lots of white noise out there and its not a problem until it becomes one.. but its easy enough in CA to simply have a broker do your disclosures for you and bless it.. cost of doing business legally.
