Another lawyer ***** that I the displeasure of closing with, she chose a time for closing one day, and when I arrived, she was at lunch, she berated the staff in front of me for stupid stuff, really struggled with the power of attorney we have used for years (made by another local lawyer) and ended up writing her own power of attorney - That she wouldn't even let us keep hold of???

If I recall the Dow was 7-8,000 around that time too and now it's just over 18,000, I don't know a lot of people saying the dow is going to 36,000 in the next five years so sell everything, buy on margin, and wait for the money to come rolling in.A case in point we sold out house in Saratoga CA (right next to San Jose) pre crash,  in June of 2007 it is now worth @ 27% more then what we sold for (using NARRPR - Relators website).

I would email them a holding agreement and have them sign it and deliver it with a holding fee equal to the full security deposit and first month's rent, then sign the lease when they arrive.
