Keep in mind that only your primary residence qualifies for homestead exemption and investment property does not so it does nothing for investor.Also, Prop 1 amends Texas Constitutions to outlaw real estate transfer tax but it doesn't save investor any tax since Texas currently doesn't have any real estate transfer tax.

Normally, if in the condo's declaration there is a stated in specific limit on the number of rental properties this would be understandable and enforceable.In this case however, neither the original declaration nor any amendments thereto have any sort of rental restrictions.
