While the seller does not have to accept this, chances are they might. 

We are intelligent humans on this site and we have the ability to look at the people that submit a rental application, evaluate their situation and apply a reasonable decision regarding whether or not they are an an acceptable risk client.

a lot of people want to shop on Zillow, look at 3 properties in person, and have their 1st offer be accepted. 

VA I think most want the benefit of zero cash down so thats a bit of a draw back and the inspection is rare so approved for VA wont go through with funding due to lack of inspection.Again I have never bought a house at auction nor am I in the Military so this is just from my research but not tested. 

And if you need some "outside" agency approval, like state road access, wetlands, stream crossing, perk tests, hydrogeological study, from either state or Federal agencies add more time. 

They also sell add-ons that allow you to accept cards instead of coins, but I don't know what machines they fit on.
