A $200,000 fire claim is naturally going to take a lot longer to resolve and close out than a $10,000 water damage claim. 

I am interested to hear what others think, their methods to finance, tools they use and if they would go for it.I might be able to bring some other financing from family but we currently have about 140k to put down (yes I know that's low). 

You’re either conflating a different payment method than credit/debit(like giving direct non third party ACH access to your tenant to your account) or talking about a fraudulent situation with a judgement or you or your “someone” is being less than honest.

On the sell side, my local properties have performed great with no hurricane risk.Mother Nature can be unpredictable and impact RE performance, time required, etc.
