These events are great social networks that allow regular folks like you and me to bounce investment ideas off of one another, and from that partnerships can be established to mutually benefit each other.

I used to think that the pro's just threw their money at everything but I've found through mentors and my own success that resourcefulness is what successful entrepreneurs and investors use to become successful. 

I spoke to a  real estate agent friend and they said that I will need the social security number of the previous owner to sell or list the real estate that I got at the sale.

It is the idea that "socialism works" when in reality it doesn't.

They already gave you their social security number, birth date, income, kids' names, criminal background check authorization, etc... and they think a quick head-poke inside the front door is intrusive? 

I am a Mechanical engineer by education but an investor/entrepreneur by choice.

Social Media is an incredibly important piece of the marketing pie.

We found this one just by talking about real estate to our friends and at social gatherings.

I think the trick would be to start small and be consistent.Do you set it up as a presentation or just a social gathering?
