Either short term or long term, and possibly help removing their belongings. They can't provide for their own housing because they earn at the bottom level (working poor), but it takes forever to get government housing and they have an immediate need. Those attorneys working on this new thing, should re-purpose and work on getting the government to house them with "one phone call" in Government provided housing, whether that be in the inner city, or out in the hinterlands somewhere.Their SOLVABLE problem is not Eviction, it is Housing...If it takes 60 days to move someone onto Govt Housing then modify the Evction laws to allow for it, but what they are doing right now is blowing hot air into a bag and adding cost to the process.Let part of the eviction process be the judge ordering Govt housing to house these people immediately, for as long as they need it--possibly forever.Just my 2 cents.
