In my 32 years of banking/lending, I've not seen many cases where someone is struggling to make payments as a pattern and then all of a suddens start making them again.

So, I got started, perhaps paid too much as is the common newbie pattern, but I set a goal to make this first purchase during my summer vacation while in Atlanta and two days prior to returning to Japan I finally landed a deal!

You can only see that pattern so many times as a software person before you decide to do something different.
