As everyone has stated already, since its over and done with nothing to focus on since it will be wasted energy that could be put in a positive place. 

Put the request in writing and in a format that is easy for them to follow, bullet points or numbers usually works well.

Recoup your costs and assess from there how much time, energy, and effort each of you made, as well as how long your father owned the property. 

It was a waste of time and energy.

If it is a case that they are older and not energy efficient, I doubt it plus flags would have been raised when you had the place inspected at the time of purchase.

If so, I would be mindful of your time and energy.

When I mean SRED, referring to similar to green building, that is correct, coming from Materials, energy efficiency, passive house design, envelope, water collection, SIPS or MODULAR, etc. 

Tankless use significantly less energy.

For me, it is quite honestly worth the money to save my mental energy and work on acquiring another property or find ways to add value to my existing properties.
