You know what they say about assume....By the way - if we are talking about a single member LLC that is a disregarded entity - you can take out however much you want whenever you want.

It is likely that the LLC will either be a disregarded entity (if you are the only owner) or taxed as a partnership (if there are multiple owners).

Aliens could not get a tax id number if they don't have SSNIf anyone knows another way how it could be done, please share.No one owns a c-corporation, they are their own entities with their own EINs, manager(s), and (maybe) shareholders.A single-member LLC will have its own EIN, but since it's a disregarded entity, of course the single member will need an EIN/SSN (whether that member is a person or another entity).

The LLC is in effect disregarded for tax purposes.Accordingly, you will pay tax in both states, and likely get a credit for any tax you pay in the state the property is located when you file your state of residence return.Your LLC will also cost you another $800 a year CA minimum tax fee generally regardless of which state the LLC is formed.

@Clay CouvillonAll LLC's are not created equally.Some LLC's are single member LLC's and are considered disregarded entitiesSome LLC's are multiple member LLC's and are taxed as partnerships.Some LLC's(Single member or multi member) also have the option to be taxed as a corportion(C-Corp or S-Corp)Regarding where to create it, you likely want to create it in the state where you will be doing business(state where the property is located).You can create an LLC by yourself, with the help of a DYI website or via a professional(Attorney).You may also want to consider getting an operating agreement when establishing the LLC.

Due to the fact that there were no assets, the cab was not run like a true business, it was not capitalized etc....just a shell entity for liability management, it was disregarded and all were opened up allowing access directly to the owner.
