This doesn't sound like a case of additional costs, it sounds like a case of misbidding material cost or quantities.At the end of the day $200 probably didn't break the bank on a roof replacement (assuming the work was thousands), and if your contractor is good and reliable, could be money well spent.

You just need a partner who is of legal age or a real investor who will reliably buy your leads (not a random list of 600 people who may or may not be willing to close a deal with you).
