Does anyone know if applying for 2 existing apartments on 2nd and  3rd floor with commercial space on ground floor in CMX4  zoning requires fire sprinkler system if no construction is needed?

The equity rich cash poor problem is one I was faced with as well because I put it all into our apartment buildings.

My question is- does anyone know of a credit union in the Galveston/Houston area that will work with investors and offer cash out refinances?

The land has two structures on it I would like to use as rentals, a small 400 square foot pole barn that I would like to turn into a studio loft apartment and an 800 square foot cabin that some needs work before being able to rent.

For our rentals, the rental amount is for the apartment regardless of the number of occupants.

From an initial impression, this makes the process of long-term investing much more convenient, and the only fee (apart from regular agent/lender commissions) is the property management fee!
