I also use an infrared camera I have to detect changes in temp however these are also pretty expensive.If insurance will cover it I would go that route. 

If I took the pictures, I'd use my good camera.. lol

Going from zero to 100 is foolish.I equate it to someone deciding they want to try photography so they buy a $5,000 camera and $10,000 in lenses.

This time the plumber ran a camera down the line and said the house was fine, but the cast iron sewer line from the house to the sewer was clogged with grease so bad he could not get the camera down it. 

This permanent injunction requires the owner of the property to comply with 5 ongoing requirements. 1) Security cameras and lights had to be installed and maintained2) A lease specified in the injunction must be used moving forward3) Owner shall not rent to anyone with a felony4) If another drug but occurs then the property will be boarded up for 6 months5) All leases must be submitted to the City if requestedSince the discovery of the injunction, my stance has been that I will not complete the purchase unless the seller is able to successfully petition the city to have the injunction lifted.

I have cameras in my home and on the outside, so I checked on my dogs every other day.   

We had a building where the tenants complained/nagged for a dead bolt on the main entrance and then found it too difficult to close and lock the door, so we installed a dead latch - which seems to have solved the problem.Given the low cost of surveillance cameras these days, you might consider installing one.

Also if anyone in my area needs any sort of photography I have a professional camera that takes unbelievable photos.

I stage and I have a camera with a wide angle lens and take the photos myself.
