I want to start out wholesaling but I understand the negative perception it comes with.

This one wasn't a HUD but it was a comparable house in the same area with nearly the same asking price.Hopefully people's negative perceptions of HUD will keep most folks from bidding on this.

But it did not occur to me that what I felt as progress was really me being pacified by activity and perception of progress.

The perception that we want to just enroll a bunch of people in various systems or programs and then never fund their deals is erroneous.

Some people have the incorrect perception that to get a good deal you have to buy distressed properties.

This can actually work well if you are perceptive enough, or lucky enough to buy in a rising market.
