In our day, this is not true- the least expensive goods are often imported, and thus taxing imports would place a heavy burden upon the poorest in society.

I am interested in going with low-cost minimal/modern design in the bedroom and living spaces, adding closet space in most cases; but mainly focusing funds on the two most cost effective rooms in the units, Kitchen and Bath.

Here's the thing, even with every modern currency death (Weimar republic, for example) the country still functioned one way or another until things stabilized.

The home seems to be a steal, only 9 years old over 2k square foot 2 story home on 3 wooded acres in rural ohio, sweet modern floor plan, 2 car attached garage, poured foundation and full basement....full of water that has ruined the furnace and hot water heater.

This is especially true with our payment myopic society and the spend-till-it-ends culture.

I would say that 4/2.1 would be ideal.6.Modern features such as a functional 2-person master bath, social kitchen, attached 2+ car garage, central heat and/or AC, non-gold features, etc.7.Clean, decent, functional yard (low cost of upkeep, so no pool and probably no water feature)8.B neighborhood or better, and on a decent or better street.9.Attractive curb appeal.

Our society is full of risk averse people.
