So there you go no mystery to this.. and other than the big cash out when folks bought the properties the business is really quite simple.. buy a bombed out foreclosure that an investor walked away from because PM was cruddy.

I hope nobody disappears mysteriously, especially with our money!

I would have a hard time doing a house that had a murder or suicide in it.  

The lawsuit should have taken about 9 months according to our lawyer and we were on track......8 and a half months in and the building mysteriously caught on fire.

In most states you only have to disclose a violent death like a murder or suicide or death resulting from a defect in the property.

We are looking at a single family at present, bank owned, looks like a good deal, however.... how do we handle disclosure( there was a murder in the house 5 yrs ago) It’s a great neighborhood, we have a contractor etcWe have not approached a lender yet.Any advice?
