The low cost of fuel artificially lowered the inflation but it will not remain low when other conditions change.

@Joshua LaneThe benefits are the market intelligence you can obtain from the MLS, the savings on commissions (if you're doing enough deals), and the ability to list/sell/buy homes for others in your network.  

I wish to have an intelligent conversation with whomever has the ability to help if at all possible.  

@Bernard Weingarten I have always tried to surround myself with more intelligent people than myself for my investing business.

The last visit I had at city of Atlanta was the first real intelligent conversation I had and both the lady helping me and her supervisor helped me with a $16,000 water bill.  

I love intelligent forums like this and reading books pretty much how I got to where I am today.

I am proficient in data mining and business intelligence, and could make great use of those skills if I have a solid data source (demographic, economic, regional/location sales history, etc).I am eager to start my real estate investing journey, and start sharing knowledge with y'all!

I plan on setting up a lunch with a probate lawyer (a co-worker at a large firm long ago) to get her input but am trying to do some homework beforehand so that I can ask intelligent questions and don't come across as a waste of her time.  

Set artificially low (with a reserve) just to drum up interest?
