I do worry about the strain this will put on our already challenged infrastructure from transportation to schooling but I’m confident that we can work through it.

New vinyl double pane windows cost less than $200 each - material.Installation is a snap - I can easily do 8 windows in a day.

Our medical system could get VERY strained. 

@Patrick Strain I would just start calling around to local banks and national banks with local branches.

I did have to question the replacement of a window pane twice over the matter of three months and I haven't seen an issue since.My property here in Colorado - it's rented by a management trainee (24 year old kid right out of college) for the local meat packing plant.  

But since both my husband and I have gotten injured from our day jobs (carpal tunnel and repetitive strain) at ages 27 & 22, we've realized this is not what we want to be doing for the rest of our lives.

The US saw a smallish outbreak in New York, that put a strain on their healthcare system and taxed their ability to perform routine clinic functions, routine surgeries, and other roles.

we deal with new strains of the flu, h1n1, every few years without batting an eye.

But LOTS of ways this could spiral downward and strain relationships that matter.
