Would you rent to your brother in law?

Jason Martin
Posted

Will be purchasing first single family home investment later this year and wondering how many people would rent out their first investment property ever to family.

Background: Have a good relationship with the brother in law, he just graduated college and needs housing. Responsible for the most part and doesn’t party, more of a video game home body.

Anyone have pros/cons suggestion or advice?

I NEVER mix business with family. Not a good idea at all imo.
