It was definitely a DIY hack job if you ask me.I can easily pull back the vinyl siding at the trim around my windows and doors, and what I see underneath is more white siding, stained from age and definitely harder than vinyl.My first question is,what type of siding might this be?

Some water stains, maybe some electrical issues from rats in the attic chewing.

Not only did this make turnovers faster and easier (didn't have to wait for laundry to be done), but it also seemed like the sheets were the quickest items to get soiled or stained.

The stone would be a lot of work to remove, but a cheaper alternative would be to put fence pickets sprayed with a dark stain and cut to size over the wood.

It doesn’t look too bad without shutters right now, figured it would look nice with stained wood shutters though.

The stains will not come out and it’s pretty abused.

On top of the repairs with sellers' credits at closing, my friend and I stained and refinished the wood flooring throughout the entire house in order to save on costs.

I'm dealing with an HOA violation to repair a stained block wall from water leaching through.
