Personally for a small hole whilst the house is under tenancy, we use a bit of tin foil in the hole and then sealed up with foam.

The tank is filled with sand, gravel or foam and contains no oil.

As a man, picture shaving in front of the mirror and all you have is a pedestal sink, and no place to set down your shaving cream or razor.  

Our king size foam mattress soaked up all that water and got ruined.

With a 50/50 revenue split, this means they just shaved off about 20% of my net laundry income.  

And they aren't shaving costs off of an insurance premium.  

Another company does sidewalk leveling with polylevel foam, but they dont want to come out for one slab.

Just have a lot of foam brushes for drips...with all the detailed trim.

ALSO...I would rather put down a layer of subfloor over the existing wood floor and then, sound absorbing dense underlay foam, and then new vinyl or laminate floating floor(faux wood) floors..than mess around with any BS carpet.In case I haven't been clear enough about my opinion....NO CARPET!
