Today, the tenant emailed stating that the smell is getting significantly stronger in the bathroom walls and believes it is a "health hazard" and is asking for a rent reduction until this issue is resolved. 

The concern with mold is when it becomes airborne (able to be inhaled by infants/health-compromised individuals, etc).

We checked with the NC college residency requirements and the only thing we are questioning now is if she'd be kicked off of our health insurance if she was made an independent and removed from our taxes.

However this would leave us cash poor because a recent health issue ate up a good deal of savings (its ok,  that's what it's there for?)

Don't have an issue with the higher standards as I spent several years in Life & Health Insurance. 

I used to be a loan officer before I had to take a leave for health reasons.

I currently dont owe anything to anybody, but have a horrible credit score duedue to past health Expenses.

Within the years to come, the market is sure to see a steady increase in home buyers and renters specifically from millennials which will continue to benefit the health of the real estate market well into 2018 and beyond.

Im just worried about the health issues that could arise from such a place.

He is selling because of his health.
