- New windows, drywall, gutters, insulation, roof, pavers in backyard, pool equipment, paint inside and out, kitchen cabinets, ac, water heater.

Do they have to cut through the cabinets or open up the wall to get to it?

Again the vacant Unit was already nice, but there were just some things missing, like the prior owners replaced the kitchen countertop, but left the cabinets as they were. 

Say you want a $15/sf tile, or a 50k kitchen cabinet, or a 80k bathroom jacuzzi, or 600/faucet, that will eventually change things over. there is no real way of telling, they vary too much.

If the place doesn't seem like it needs any real repairs (besides cleaning, paint, and maybe fixing a cabinet) does that change how you would approach the situation?

I saw a local home stripped of all appliances, cabinets, flooring, doors, plumbing fixtures, etc.

(paint, trim, flooring, appliances, countertops, cabinets, closet spaces, shelving)  all these things are non-urgent that you can do at your own pace and can even make excellent projects to do with your partner and get creative.3.)

It sounds like the floor in the laundry/maintenance room, kitchen, bathroom and closet with be removed, for sure drywall on 2 walls in maintenance room, most likely 1 wall of cabinets and possibly the other half of kitchen cabinets (lower) and then some carpet will need to be pulled up to help dry out.

The first unit needs some work (new windows, cabinets).
