One of my long-term concerns here at Bigger Pockets is trying to explain how the rarity of that talent stack came about historically and also why so many immigrants end up in this. 

I grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but worked in real estate in Melbourne, Australia and London, UK.

I myself am descended from immigrants from another continent.

I am an immigrant.

Due to my position at UK I'd rent to dental or other professional students.  

There are also large immigrant communities here, particularly Somali and Vietnamese, which is wonderful. 

We normally get a lot of visitors from the UK and CA but those are still shut off right now. 

Conventions in the Orlando area are canceling left, right and center, because of the immigration laws just passed, because of the tension of the whole LGBTQ thing and whether you are a supporter of the present Governor or not, is really irrelevant to this, my problem, because this is what is happening in this area.In 6 years of owning this house, I have never NOT HAD the house booked for July 4th weekend, labor day weekend, Halloween weekend.
