Areas that have "come up" over the last 5-10 years like Forest Park Southeast (Forest Park & The Grove business district), Tower Grove South & East (Tower Grove Park & South Grand business district), Shaw (Botanical Gardens) all have a significant anchor (noted in parens) that people want to live near.

The recently  published  Vital 15  neighborhood  statistics really make the  neighborhood look bad  for  2015 data, but like most people say  Baltimore is block by  block and I am only interested in properties in the south/east part of the neighborhood.

Fast forward to today: Milwaukee has been in the news lately quite a bit - Foxconn (one of the largest manufacturers of consumer electronics with 1.3 million employees) has announced a 10 billion dollar investment in a new plant creating  up too 13.000 well paying jobs in Southeast Wiscinsin, probably Racine or Kenosha - close to the lake.

so far it just says Southeast WI so im guessing Greater Milwaukee, or possibly Racine or Kenosha,  considering the ULine facility is down there, and the new Amazon DC but thats speculation
