Buyer sentiment right now is way low okay so there are fewer buyers out there that are willing to buy.Secondly, I have a friend of mine or a buddy of mine that just recently went out to get a loan and he was denied.

Am not too fussed as to where as long as there is a decent ROI for both of us.Also interested in conversions - split a house in flats - sell and move on..not sentimental... will look at all offers seriously and will not string you along...time is short

And I'm always amazed that there is this sentiment on BP that if a recession comes it will not negatively affect us--only "them".

However, there is a large anti-STR sentiment in many areas in San Diego. 

You may not have intended that sentiment, but that's exactly what it is.Do the right thing.

Hey @Will Sutter, you will probably see this sentiment across BP but house hacking is one of the best ways to get into real estate.

It's encouraging to see others who echo the same sentiment I have.

I am constantly working on learning my strengths and weeding out what others can do more efficiently than I can.By the way - love your comment about your tenants being your partners: I agree with that sentiment!
