I’ve had great experience with private landlords in the past, and have found fellow pet lovers that didn’t charge pet rent, or accepted my larger dog (when he was alive) to live in an apartment without hassle.

It was definitely a learning experience more than anything.

However, that’s been my same experience with off market deals as well. 

A lot of times the contract period is actually when an agents expertise and experience is the most valuable to a buyer.

I would just add that the West Eighties neighborhood is bound to experience some appreciation with being sandwiched between the Tremont and Edgewater neighborhoods. 

My experience with Section 8 has been pretty consistent between Indy and several other cities.
