Whether or not the business has the scale to absorb this administrative overhead is something you need to examine (1065s are no longer DIYable IMO).You really should consult a tax CPA and asset protection attorney to understand your options and the steps you're currently taking but don't fully understand the ramifications of.The other two questions can wait.

Consult a good real estate tax accountant to examine your situation.

Hire a plumber to detect current leaks or past leaks by examining repaired and repainted sheetrock, or cupped wood flooring.

At the end of my BA, faced with the reality that I had no money and the only way to move ahead in the field was to get a PhD in it, I had to take a test called the Graduate Record Examination, which is a lot like the SAT.

The thing is, inspectors can only examine what is readily visible.
