The lender’s Instructions also specify fire and hazard insurance requirements and how your lender should be named (mortgagee), endorsements to the lender's title policy, and it will reference all the documents you will sign and/or initial -- even the pages on which these occur.

Any strategy that LS does not endorse is NOT allowed for their members. 

One comes to mind when a tenant presented a copy of the back of her check endorsed by me, claiming she already paid  the rent and I'm unjustly evicting her, etc.

@Mike Alder   10k in many west coast markets won't even cut it for Earnest Money deposit.If I was in your market and I needed to stand out against the competition I would simply have my brief case full of 10k cashiers checked made out to my self   and ready to endorse over to the seller..

If anyone is interested, specifically for Auction.com at least... when you have have a check, you’ll endorse it to the company on the spot. if the check is over the amount, then they’ll issue a refund check.
